Yijia Fu (Vicci) is 24, from China, studying in Loughborough University London’s Institute for Media and Creative Industries.
Why Loughborough University London?
I have always wanted to live in London and to progress to work in the creative industries in the future. Loughborough’s idea of having a London campus and the values that they hold match my perspective of career development and further study.
What have you enjoyed most about the programme?
The programme is intense, but one of the greatest things is that the lecturers work so hard to support our study. They all have brilliant business experience and interesting ways of interpreting certain theories.
What attracted you to the course?
I have always wanted to study communications, but one of the biggest attractions as the collaborative project, which provides opportunities for me to work with students from the other institutes within real business corporations.
What do you think of the building?
It is a well thought out and innovative design.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I will hopefully be working in a digital marketing agency as an account manager. I hope to be able to help the UK and China understand each other better and cooperate on a more complex level.
