Visit the website Claredale House is an affordable, newly refurbished block of flats for students. The rooms are grouped into 59 flats with the vast majority have 4 bedrooms, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Set around a stunning internal courtyard, each room in Claredale House is centrally-heated, fully furnished and includes internet access, making it ideal for postgraduate students. The building has sub-wardens available to help 24 hours a day to provide a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for living and learning.

Situated in Bethnal Green, Claredale House is 2.5 miles away from the City of London and 20-30 minutes from the campus using public transport. Claredale House is conveniently located near to newsagents, cafés and restaurants, and London’s popular Broadway food market just a few minutes away.

Travelling to Claredale House

The closest National Rail station is Cambridge Heath, which is 5 minutes’ walk from Claredale House. The closest Tube station to Claredale House is Bethnal Green, which is serviced by the Central Line. The 388 bus is available from Cambridge Heath Station and runs directly to the Copper Box Arena in just 6 stops. From here, you can walk across to the campus, which gives a total journey time of 20-30 minutes.

How to book

Please register your details with Claredale House first to receive a validation code. You should then enter the code into the Claredale House booking system to apply for a room from Spring 2018.
 
You must state that you are a Loughborough University London postgraduate student to be issued with the validation code. If you have entered these details correctly, you will be able to continue with your application. 

Before you apply for a room at Claredale House, it is important to read the term time licence agreement. The licence agreement is a legal contract that you must adhere to for the duration of your accommodation contract, if you are offered a room.
