Travelling to the Campus
Heathrow Coach Service
We offer a free coach service from London Heathrow Terminal 3 to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, stopping at Unite Stratford ONE, Stratford International Station and Claredale House. More details and a link to the coach booking form will be available from Summer 2017.
If your plane arrives at Terminal 1, 2, 4 or 5, please use the free Heathrow Express bus service to travel to Terminal 3 where the free coach will be located. Students and staff will be located at Terminal 3 and will be wearing purple 'Team Loughborough' t-shirts, and will be happy to assist you onto the coach.
This service is free of charge and is available for Loughborough University London students joining in 2017 only. A number of coaches will be made available throughout the day, and we will try our best to match you to a coach that is close to your arrival time.
If there are seats available after those who have booked places and any new students have boarded the coaches, we may be able to accept additional passengers, such as accompanying friends and relatives (other than family dependents) who will not be studying at Loughborough University, who we cannot normally transport. The fee for additional passengers is £20.
Please note that if your flight is delayed, it will not be possible for the coach to postpone its departure.
Pre-Sessional Course Arrival
We also offer coaches for students attending our pre-sessional courses, which are held at the main Loughborough Campus.
The coaches will drop students at their temporary Hall of Residence at Loughborough University. If you are taking part in a pre-sessional course and starting a programme at Loughborough University London, you will stay in Loughborough for the duration of your pre-sessional course. A free coach service will transfer you to the London campus once your pre-sessional course has finished.
