Loughborough University named #1 in the UK for Media subjects

Loughborough University has been ranked first in the 2018 Guardian University Guide for Media and Film.

The table ranks Loughborough first out of 87 universities teaching Media and Film related subjects. The results are compiled by scoring each institution on a range of aspects, such as course and teaching satisfaction, staff to student ratio and graduate career prospects.  
 
Sixteen of Loughborough’s courses are ranked in the national top 10, with the University ranked top in Fashion and Textiles. These results place Loughborough University 6th in the UK overall, consolodating Loughborough's position as one of the best institutions in the country. The news comes just weeks after Loughborough University was ranked in the top ten in The UK Complete University Guide 2018.
 
Loughborough University Vice Chancellor Professor Robert Allison said: “The Guardian bases its league table on the factors that matter most to students, which makes our achievement in it even more rewarding. Our ranking is evidence of our continued success and is testament to the hard work that has taken place across the University.”
