ADVICE AND SUPPORT
At Loughborough University we understand that deciding on the university where you will pursue your studies is one of the most important choices you’ll make in your life. We also understand that studying in a foreign country away from your family and friends can be a daunting experience.
We work with study-abroad advisors and overseas representatives in a range of countries who can provide you with information about the University as well as assistance with your application, entry requirements and visa procedures.
We’ve organised a number of on-line chat events to help answer your queries and attend to your concerns throughout the application process. You’ll be able to join live discussions with our International Office staff and current students, who openly share their experience of studying and living as a student in the UK.
INTERNATIONAL ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
We consider a wide range of international qualifications for entry on to our postgraduate programmes. You can find a detailed list of entry requirements for many countries on the International Office website.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
All applicants must have an acceptable English Language qualification before they can be admitted to any of our programmes, whether their first language is English or not.
If you haven’t yet reached the required level of English, it may be possible to use the pre-sessional courses as an alternative means of satisfying the English language entry requirements.
WORKING IN THE UK
There are a number of options available which enable international students to work both during and after their studies. Our Careers and Employability Centre, one of the best-rated in the UK, offers extensive free support to international students in finding employment opportunities both on and off campus.
