Stacey Balsdon

Student Support Manager

Stacey is Student Support Manager for the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, providing welfare and academic support to students and staff within the Institute.

Prior to joining Loughborough University London's Professional Services Team, Stacey worked for two years as the Postgraduate Research Education Manager at the University of Essex, and was responsible for PGR student experience, records and examinations. 

Prior to this position, Stacey was a Subwarden of Tower's Hall, a Student Liaison Assistant, and an active volunteer at Loughborough Students' Union, as well as being Vice-Chair of Education from 2012-2014.

Academic background

Stacey graduated from Loughborough University in 2011 with a first class Bachelor of Science degree in Geography, before graduating with a PhD in Human Geography in 2015.
