Part of the University’s Careers Network, Nadine provides career guidance, coaching and information to students, staff and graduates.
Nadine has worked in careers related roles for the past ten years. She was a Careers Consultant at the University of East London and The University of Law where she supported undergraduates and postgraduates from Business, Law, Health, Sport and Bioscience programmes. She supported the UEL Professional Development Award and managed a team of student employability champions. Nadine has a lot of experience in organising large scale events. She has an interest in widening participation and through charities, government initiatives, and further education has supported young people access higher education and receive full scholarships for top independent schools across the country.
Nadine completed her BA (Hons) in Social Welfare and Community Studies at Coventry University. She received special recognition from the institution and the Higher Education Volunteering Awards for her commitment to community projects in the UK and overseas. Nadine obtained her Postgraduate Diploma in Career Guidance and Qualification in Career Guidance (QCG) at the same institution, accredited by the Career Development Institute. During this time she was hired to design a careers game which is now sold in schools. Nadine also has a Level 4 qualification in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
