Throughout her working career Fran has worked in various retail roles and gained extensive customer service skills both in retail and the higher education sector.

With 12 years’ experience dealing with International students as a Student Services & IELTS Test Centre Manager at Bellerbys College & Embassy CES London, she has dealt with all aspects of Student support - her main focus being on UKVI compliance, Welfare advice and IELTS administration.

In 2013, Fran travelled and worked in Europe & Australia for a Melbourne based company, Endeavour Foundation, providing person-centred support for people with a disability as part of the everyday community - through education, training, life skills development, employment and housing.

Upon her return to the UK she worked for the University of East London as a Disabilities Adviser within the Regional Access Centre in Stratford, and supported students in gaining funding from Student Finance England and provided guidance on assistive software equipment for students throughout their studies.

More recently she worked in the Registry Department at Imperial College London as a Student Records Administrator, updating and maintaining the student record system in relation to all aspects of student data, and processing re-entry applications to examinations for undergraduate and postgraduate taught students, while also assisting with student appeals and disciplinary investigations.

Academic background

In 2003 Fran completed a degree in Cultural Studies at The University of Surrey Roehampton, studying a rich variety of multicultural practices, involving critical theory of social, political and media implications.

Interests and activities

Outside of work I love travelling, photography, reading and listening to music. Fran is very excited to be working with colleagues and supporting students at Loughborough University London.
