Why did you choose Loughborough University London/ your programme in particular?

Loughborough University London had great ratings for the course and the teaching environment. I chose to study the MSc Managing Innovation in Creative Organisation programme because I believe that modern information transmission has become faster and faster, with many industries gradually relying on big data. To learn faster and to become more effective, organisations are required follow more precise procedures to increase competitiveness.

How has Loughborough University London inspired you and helped you to progress in your career?

I have developed new abilities which are very helpful to my career and I have also established strong interpersonal relationships whilst at Loughborough University London. I am very grateful for everything I have learnt here, as this has laid the foundation for my development in London. I will continue to work hard in the future and I am hoping that one day I will have the opportunity to give back to the university.

Tell us about your most memorable experience on your course.

I was impressed by the support that the professors and lecturers gave me whilst studying here, which gave me a lot of confidence. At the start of my studies, I was not familiar with English teaching and had to work even harder to achieve my goal, however the academics were able to support my development. With all of these experiences, I became a confident person and I am now not afraid to try anything.

Where do you currently work and what position do you hold?

I currently work at NUTTEA as a London regional agent. NUTTEA is a plant-based cafe from Taiwan, dedicated to the development of nuts-related diets.

Tell us about your career journey so far and the organisation you are currently working for.

The first time I came into contact with the brand in Hong Kong, it's products and drinks surprised me. Not only are the drinks attractive, the brand concept and future vision makes it stand out from other beverage brands. NUTTEA uses high-quality fresh nuts, cold-pressed into the signature "Nut Mylk", which is very different from other long-life plant-based milk sold in supermarkets. After developing my understanding of the operational side of NUTTEA, I decided to bring this wonderful brand to the UK. With a high demand from the vegan population, the Nut Mylk can also be mixed with tea and fresh fruit juices. There may also be a demand in bodybuilders or people who are lactose intolerant for the famous pearl milk tea. Our famous Nut Mylk and Nut Cream are exclusively developed by NUTTEA and all the ingredients we use are high quality, fresh, and no additives or preservatives. NUTTEA aims to help people achieve a healthier and better lifestyle.

What do you love the most about your current job?

As this is my first time starting a business, I am both excited but also worried. With the current COVID-19 situation, we are facing a lot of unknown difficulties, with lockdowns dramatically affecting business. I am having to adapt to the current times and seek support to enable the continued development of the NUTTEA business.
